What is coaching?
Coaching is a personal and professional development process that’s designed to help someone grow and change. It’s a creative, solutions-focused way to take small steps toward big changes. To learn a little bit more about the coaching process & when it can be useful, check out the video below!
Carli shares more about the coaching process — what it is, why it’s valuable, and the kinds of topics clients might bring to a session.
“Coaching, at its core, is a creative conversation that’s designed to help someone who wants to make a change.”

FAQs

Sessions are 45 minutes to 1 hour. We’ll spend the first 10 minutes on introductions & a brief intro into the coaching process. Then, we’ll spend 45-50 minutes having a coaching conversation around the topic of your choice. At the end, we’ll have the option to do some quick wrap-up and discussion about next steps before our session closes.
-
That is completely fine! Many clients aren’t sure what topic they want to discuss until we get into a session. If you don’t have a specific topic in mind, but are curious about the coaching process, you are more than welcome to sign up for an office hour. We can meet, chat about coaching, and do some fun discovery work around your personal values and goals.

In 2022, I completed the Level 1 ICF-certified Applied Life Science to Skills Coach Training Course.
This method of coaching is based in the science of positive psychology and human development and is recognized as an official form of personal & professional development coaching by the ICF (International Coaching Federation). So far, I have completed 82 hours of training and 50+ hours of client practice.
My personal style of coaching draws on the science of motivation, positive psychology & human development while also incorporating reflective inquiry, mindful self-compassion, and the co-active model of collaborative coaching. In general, my coaching approach is warm, friendly, and focused on values & strengths.

There is zero pressure to continue with coaching after the open office hours — these are meant to be fun and stress-free sessions! – but I’m happy to talk through options if you’re interested.
